EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The expanding market is bringing several challenges for the data center operators. It is becoming more challenging for data center owners to expand as rapidly as increasing demand from service users. The increasing size and numbers of data centers are also creating management challenges like timely repair & maintenance, maintaining compliance requirements, managing security, fault detection, and delays in servers assignment. In order to provide an effective solution to all these issues Rack and Manage (RAM) is developing a Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tool. This tool will enable users to manage their servers and all other devices in the racks and cabinets of the data center.
